Director, Sales & Marketing

Role Summary:
Reporting to the General Manager, the Director of Sales & Marketing will play a pivotal role in shaping Loadlink’s next stage of growth. This position leads both the Sales and Marketing functions, ensuring strategy, execution, and customer experience work together to drive measurable results. You will develop and implement go-to-market strategies that increase revenue, enhance market visibility, and strengthen customer relationships. This is a hands-on leadership role that combines strategic thinking with operational execution, ideal for a leader who builds high-performing teams and takes pride in achieving results through collaboration, accountability, and insight.

Required Experience & Qualifications:
● 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in B2B sales and marketing, ideally within SaaS, technology, or other high-growth industries.
● Proven track record of building and scaling sales and marketing teams and delivering consistent revenue growth.
● Experience Leading Key/Enterprise Account managers who are responsible to six figure ARR accounts
● Expertise in pipeline management, account-based marketing, digital demand generation, and customer lifecycle strategies.
● Experience launching and cross-selling new products
● Strong analytical mindset and fluency with CRM, marketing automation, and sales performance tools.
● Exceptional leadership, communication, and change management capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience leading through digital transformation or modernizing GTM operations.
● Familiarity with the transportation, logistics, or supply-chain industry.
● B2B SaaS experience with complex sales cycles and multi-product strategies
● Experience in marketplace/platform businesses or freight/logistics technology preferred
● Previous role building sales organization from foundation vs. inheriting established structure
● Track record of sustainable growth through process improvement and talent development

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership
● Develop and execute go-to-market strategies that accelerate revenue growth across core and emerging markets.
● Define and drive the annual sales and marketing plans, aligned with the company’s long-term vision & strategic priorities.
● Leverage market trends, customer insights, and competitive analysis to inform business decisions.

Sales Management
● Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team focused on new business acquisition, account expansion, and customer retention.
● Establish and monitor KPIs, sales targets, forecasting accuracy, and pipeline health.
● Build and maintain a high-integrity sales culture focused on results, accountability, and customer value.

Marketing Leadership
● Oversee brand, demand generation, digital marketing, and product marketing initiatives.
● Ensure marketing strategies are measurable and contribute directly to revenue and customer acquisition goals.
● Strengthen market positioning and brand equity through compelling storytelling, campaigns, and customer engagement programs.

Cross-functional Collaboration
● Partner with Product, Finance, Customer Success, and Revenue Operations to align GTM efforts and optimize the customer journey.
● Serve as the voice of the market and customer within the executive leadership team, providing insights to technology development teams to create stronger understanding of customer requirements.
