At Loadlink, we’re searching for a Data Science Manager who will lead the charge in building and scaling our data science capabilities to drive innovation, efficiency, and maximum ROI across our market-leading data platform.

You’ll manage and grow a team, work closely with cross-functional teams, and translate complex data into actionable solutions that directly address business pain points. Your work will support key business objectives, customer satisfaction, and growth by improving process efficiencies, optimizing our products, and delivering valuable insights through customer analytics.

  • Has a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Has at least 1 year of leadership experience in data science, data engineering, or an engineering-focused research field using related tools and platforms.
  • Has proven experience delivering on machine learning models and products from research to production.
  • Has strong knowledge of machine learning, forecasting, and statistical techniques.
  • Has a proven track record in leading data science teams and delivering impactful results.
  • Is execution focused with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize and deliver high quality results.
  • Has a strong sense of curiosity and passion for problem-solving.
  • Has strong business acumen and an analytical mindset.
  • Is a self-starter and solutions provider and flourish in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Is proficient in SQL, Python, R and machine learning frameworks.
  • Experienced with cloud platforms.
  • Has exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Define and Execute Data Science Strategy: Design and implement a roadmap for data science initiatives that align with company objectives, leveraging data to solve high-impact business problems.
  • Identify Business Opportunities with Data: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs, identify pain points, and translate them into data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and Deploy Solutions: Build predictive models, optimization algorithms, and analytics tools that enhance products, improve process efficiencies, and maximize customer ROI.
  • Drive Product and Customer Insights: Use analytics to understand customer behaviour, identify trends, and provide actionable insights that inform product development and customer strategy.
  • Product Innovation: Collaborate with product teams to identify opportunities for data-driven product enhancements and new features.
  • Build and Lead the Data Science Team: Recruit, mentor, and develop a high-performing team, fostering a collaborative environment where innovation thrives and team members grow their expertise.
  • Decision Support: Provide data-driven insights to inform strategic and operational decisions.
